Those two sets of fans are very passionate about their club but they aren't the only ones, look at some of the clubs in south America like Boca and River Plate, the fans are absolutely fanatical, i must also say about Man Utd fans, for all the abuse they take you will never see an empty seat at Old Trafford or an away allocation never sold out no matter how well they are doing, now that is supporting your club.
I don't know for sure, but it does seem that Celtic fans and Liverpool fans especially are extremely passionate about their club. I think I agree with you, even though I am not a fan of either club, I really support Real Madrid, but I have to agree that the primer league destroys all other leagues also, in terms of financial support (big money), fan support, and most importantly level of play!

Very true, but Fenerbache, River Plate, Boca Juniors etc etc. all have very passionate fans too.
Some of the scenes of fans in Turkey look unusually passionate, Galatasaray etc
