True or False; a theist trying to give a valid answer in support of God is like getting out of quicksand?

If someone doesn't think God is a valid concept, then how are they going to consider any answer regardless as to how well thought it is that answer is valid in the first place. It would be like running against a strong constant wind.True or False; a theist trying to give a valid answer in support of God is like getting out of quicksand?
I agree that it is impossible to convince an atheist of the existence of God from rational arguments, because the kinds of arguments theists use are (generally) not recognised as valid (or often even understood) by atheists. It often feels like atheists and theists speak different languages and it is impossible to really make ourselves understood.

This is deeply depressing.True or False; a theist trying to give a valid answer in support of God is like getting out of quicksand?
Yes, I would say that that is a valid representation of the facts.

The problem is that the theist has no evidence the atheist is compelled to recognize; personal faith is not tangible. The atheist, for his part, can slap the theist round the ears with hard evidence (possibly even literally) in favor of alternative theories to Biblical notions.
Because there is Aristotle's great rational proofs. And many other bases fully rational. It is a trap to think God has to be proved. He has been and often.

This book just came out and it has the attitude I've always had

Aristotle Versus the Atheists: On the Existence of God and the Immortality of the Soul

Paul Berry

';Aristotelianism, has survived, and has overcome every assault against it through the length of history. The endurance of the structure has come not to rest on the approval of academics and intellectuals, but because it has drawn to itself the love of normal men and women. This has taken place when they seek to know if there is a God and if they possess an immortal soul.';
You are correct. But that does not mean we stop telling others about what we know. I believe it is my job to be a witness for God.
False.
I don't know
