True or false: Assuming you know the basics of job interviewing, the best thing to know at an interview?

This question is in the form of a proposition. True or false. Assuming one knows the basics of job interviewing (dress, demeanor, behavior, conduct, nature of the job and organization, etc.), the following is the most importaint thing to know if you have hopes of securing the position: As much about the interviewer as possible.

If you agree, fine. If not, provide your alternate answer; however, it can only be one additional bit of knowledge or strategy.True or false: Assuming you know the basics of job interviewing, the best thing to know at an interview?
The best think to know - s much about the interviewer as possible - FALSE

I think knowing who you (personally) are is very important.

The first question is always ';tell me a little about yourself';.

sure you do need to indicate that you do know about the company (not the interviewer person specifically), but knowing about yourself is a LOT more important.True or false: Assuming you know the basics of job interviewing, the best thing to know at an interview?
I would disagree.

I'd say that actually knowing as much as possible about YOURSELF is more important in an interview than knowing about the interviewer.
