True or false: once you get HPV and get rid of them you no longer transmit the disease to others?

after you recieve the appropriate treatment and the period after that; Although the virus might be there but its not contagiousTrue or false: once you get HPV and get rid of them you no longer transmit the disease to others?
Just because a person has gotten rid of genital warts, doesn't necessarily mean the virus that causes them is gone too (HPV). HPV can be spread when there are no signs or symptoms of the virus (like genital warts).

I personally contracted the virus from a man who was showing no signs or symptoms. My fiance (boyfriend at the time) contracted the virus from me about a year and 1/2 ago. I didn't have genital warts at the time, but I was still able to pass it to him.

Take care!True or false: once you get HPV and get rid of them you no longer transmit the disease to others?
That would be a big FALSE!!!
false... i just got the HPV 2nd dose shot today i know.
There is no such thing as getting rid of genital warts.

The actual wart may not be visible. BUt HPV (the virus that causes it) will always be there and they might re-appear.

If a person is positive for the HPV virus, safe sex is a must.

Medical research has not been able to guarantee that someone will not become infected with HPV if a wart isnt actually present.

So.. in escence... its the gift that keeps on giving. The responsible thing to do is to try your best not to give it to someone else.

Hope that helps!
