True or False- You should never pump gas when wearing gloves?

I don't know if you should always have your hands free when holding gass nozzles. I've seen incidents where sparks caused from static electricity have set off fires at gas stations. How come I've never seen fire extinguishers next to gas pumps.True or False- You should never pump gas when wearing gloves?
';False';

Many gas stations have sprinkler systems installed in the

roofing above the pumps. If your local gas station does not

have it, and you are worried about your safety. Find a station

that does have them.

Sparks are not caused by the nozzle, since it is made out of

';aluminum,'; and does not ';spark.';

Most fires are caused by the ';fumes,'; due to ';negligence'; on

the part of the customer, who refuses to turn off his engine,

or lights a ';cigarette'; while waiting for it to fill.

As for wearing gloves. I would rather have my gloves catch

fire, so I have time to take them off, and not burn my hands.

The life you save, just may be your own. %26lt;}:-})True or False- You should never pump gas when wearing gloves?
I would say off. but i dont know never pumped gas in gloves. no need always hot here.
Ground yourself and release any static. To answer about fire extinguishers: Most of the general public do not know how to use them,and severe weather can damage them, however, theft is another reason. If a fire broke out it is an immediate defense, however inexperienced people can get hurt. Its best just to leave immediately, shut down the pumps at the Emergency Shut Off, and notify the attendant.
When it is -20 C and colder, I am wearing gloves. Free hands aren't much good if they are frostbitten.
car catch fire at gas pumps becouse of static eleltricity but hear is the deal it this happens to u the best thing to do is run away from the car as soon as u see the fire find the pump shut down switch and hit it or tell the guy in side to kill the pumps the fire will go out by it self if u do not pull the handel out of the car it all over after that and wearing gloves wont make a diff most things conduct static eleltricity it u dont want this to happen to u just touch your car before u touch the handle of the gas pump
A fire extinguisher wouldn't be any good if all that gasoline went up.
If a fire happens near a gas pump, the consumer cannot be held responsible for putting it out. That's why there's not a fire extinguisher outside. Also, more importantly, in extreme weather, the fire extinguisher will not perform properly. It's always a good idea to not wear gloves while pumping gas not only for the static risk, but also gas drippage could get on the glove and pose risks later on.
TRUE.............

YOU WOULD NOT WANT ANY OF THE GAS TO SOAK INTO THE GLOVES AND RISK THE CHANCE OF LOOSING YOUR HANDS IF A FIRE STARTED.

AS FOR THE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS, ALL GAS STATIONS HAVE AN EMERGENCY SHUT OFF THAT IS ALWAYS LOCATED NEAR THE PUMPS.
