No; all the dead (good and bad, Christian, non-christian) are asleep until the resurrection. Then those that God judge righteous (whether they ever heard of Jesus or not) will be taken to heaven for eternity and the others will be totally destroyed, annihilated, in a short space of time. That is what the Bible teaches. And fundamentalists, by definition, accept what the Bible teaches.

i'm mormon, and i don't believe that people who aren't christian are going to hell. that's ridiculous, God loves the even if they didn't believe in his son. They just get a chance in the afterlife to choose the right path.

The bible teaches that anyone who dies not confessing Christ as their savior goes to hell. If Ghandi died without confessing Christ as his savior, that is exactly where he is.
In that case, a really high percentage of those from the East who follow their own religions are in Hell. I guess people are okay with that considering most people from the east are Asians.
True, now we have some biblical evidence that there are degrees of punishment in hell so they may be different in that scense, but they are both in the same place.
